Prior General, V.Rev. Fr. Jose Panthaplamthottiyil CMI inaugurating the placid lectures
THE "PLACID LECTURES 2012" delivered by Bishop Mar Pauly Kannookadan, Bishop of Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India. The talks lasted for 3 days from 22 to 24 October and the Bishop spoke on "The Historical, Liturgical & Theological Study of the Lectionary System of the Syro-Oriental Tradition".THE FORTHCOMING EVENTS ARE:
1. "Chavara Lectures 2012" by Rev. Dr.. Jose Kuriedath CMI, on "The Challenges and Prospects of the Church in India in the 21st Century" from November 27 to 29 in the afternoon 4:00 to 6:00. All are welcome !
2. Extension Lectures 2012 on "Church's Teaching on Sexuality: Perception and Reality" by Prof. Dr. Thomas Kalam CMI from December 4 to 6 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. These Lectures are also part of our celebrating the golden jubilee of Vatican Council II. All are welcome !!
